Carpenter

CarpenterSalary: $24.42Person would be completing daily work order requests as assigned in a wide range of carpenter activities. Would require both working alone and on a crew to perform tasks.Essential duties and responsibilities: Other duties may be assignedDoor repair/replacement. Installing panic, closer, hinges, knobs, and any other hardware associated with doors.Repair of school building and furniture as assigned.Bulletin board and chalk board fabrication and installation.Remodeling projects from demo to finish. Rough in metal studs, sheet rock hanging and mudding, suspended ceiling work.Storage case work fabrication and installation.Responsible for snow plowing on an as needed basis.Other duties as assigned.Education and/or experience (required and preferred):Minimum 5 years experience in remodeling/rough-in carpenter field and a knowledge of case work fabrication and installation, hanging, taping, and sanding sheet rock, and commercial door/hardware installation.High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous experience in position or school setting preferred.Qualification requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be ableto perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
