Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) *$10,000 SIGNING BONUS*

Job Summary EDCOE Special Services provides speech and language services for 14 local school districts in El Dorado County. The team of 36 full and part‑time SLPs works collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of students with mild to moderate and moderate to severe disabilities. Assignments range from preschool through young adult, and many are located within ten minutes of the Sacramento County line. Responsibilities Services may include consultation and direct therapy with students having mild to severe language disabilities, as well as working with school staff, families, and related personnel. Duties vary by assignment and location. Eligibility Requirements Valid California Speech‑Language Pathology Services Credential Master’s degree in communicative disorders, basic skills requirement and valid license from the Speech‑Language Pathology & Audiology Board Clinical or Rehabilitative Services – Language, Speech & Hearing Credential Stipend and Bonuses Newly hired SLPs shall receive a $5,000 signing bonus upon completion of the first year, and an additional $5,000 upon completion of the second year; bonuses are prorated based on FTE and may be received only once. Master’s degree stipend of $1,500 annually for new hires. Additional signing bonus of $10,000.00. Year‑for‑year salary credit will be given for prior years of experience, including non‑credentialed work that required P‑12 licensure.
