Duties

Provides practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions, performing tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, radiology orders and referral results to completion, making future appointments

Performs direct nursing care to patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, medication management, and administrative duties within the scope of a License Practical Nurse.

Maintains timely and accurate documentation of care provided and ensures adherence to established protocols which contributes to comprehensive patient health records.

Medication Administration and Observation. Administers prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.

Support for Medical Procedures and Emergency Response. Assists in performing and managing medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments.

Provides patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals.
