We are seeking a skilled Google Workspace Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's Google Workspace environment, ensuring smooth operations, user support, and security. This role requires strong technical expertise in Google Workspace administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer Google Workspace applications including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, etc.
• Perform account provisioning, de-provisioning, and management for users and groups within Google Workspace.
• Configure and maintain security settings such as single sign-on (SSO), two-factor authentication, and endpoint management.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve service outages to ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of Google Workspace services.
• Collaborate with IT support teams and end-users to provide technical support, resolve incidents, and fulfill service requests related to Google Workspace.
• Implement and maintain data governance policies, compliance standards, and best practices for data security and privacy within Google Workspace.
• Stay current with Google Workspace updates, new features, and industry best practices to optimize our organization's use of the platform.
• Plan and execute migration projects to Google Workspace from other collaboration platforms as needed.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps related to Google Workspace administration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Google Workspace Administrator or in a similar role with deep knowledge of Google Workspace applications and services.
• Strong understanding of Google Workspace security principles and best practices.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with email routing, DNS, and SMTP relays as they relate to Google Workspace.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
• Google Workspace Administrator Certification (preferred).
