Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) from Lynchburg, VA. This full-time night shift position involves providing patient care in a busy surgical medical unit. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of adapting to a dynamic clinical environment, with orientation sessions occurring every other Monday.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent, Virginia active license, 2 years of relevant specialty experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, active VA or Compact license required at the time of submission, all RTO must be included in the submission packet
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), teaching hospital or charge experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Assignments end on Saturday, with orientations every other week on Mondays
  • 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit needs
  • Limited right to return to on-site time off (RTO) at time of submission
  • Client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to an assignment due to census fluctuations
  • Position involves interaction with students and new hires, contributing to a culture of support in a teaching hospital setting
