Pay Rate: $2,600.00 - $2,800.00 gross per week

Additional Details about the position

• Provide oral hygiene instruction to patients. Develop, with the Dental Director, programs to disseminate information on preventive dentistry and oral hygiene.
• Provide fluoride treatments for patients.
• Expose, process and mount radiographs on request of the dentist.
• Evaluate patients with periodontal disease by use of diagnostic skills, periodontal probe, and periodontal evaluation forms.
• Ensure proper sterilization of all instruments used for scaling and prophylaxes.
• Develop and implement programs to promote fluoride, i.e., fluoride tablet program, community water fluoridation.
• Aid the Dentist in development and implementation of periodontal treatment plans for clinic patients.
• Keep current with new techniques and philosophy related to preventive dentistry and periodontics.
• Actively attend general and dental staff meetings.
• Perform expanded duties to the extent the law permits.

• 1 year as an RDH
