Registered Nurse School Setting - Corona, CA

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Registered Nurse supporting the health and well-being of students at a vibrant school of arts and enterprise. This contracted role is based near Corona, CA and provides the chance to contribute your expertise over the entire academic year from August 2026 through May 2027. With an extremely manageable commitment-just 20 hours spread across the school year and a highly flexible schedule-you'll help shape a positive, healthy school experience for both general education 8th graders and all students in Special Education.


Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California-this is required for consideration.
• Experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued.
• Comfortable working independently, as no on-site training is available.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to interact with students, faculty, and parents.

Core Responsibilities:

• Complete vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings in accordance with school and state requirements.
• Perform general school nurse duties, addressing daily student health concerns and emergencies.
• Develop rapport and provide care to a diverse caseload, including general education and special education students.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with all privacy regulations.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for staff regarding student health and wellness.
