Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient rehab or Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with blood glucose monitoring and care/management of ports
• Community hospital experience required
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients
• Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Manage medications, blood glucose checks, ports, IV therapy, and related nursing interventions
• Support patients with mobility, wound care, safety, and discharge readiness
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support services to promote positive patient outcomes
• Float to MS/Tele when needed and provide dependable team coverage
• Maintain a patient ratio focused on safe, quality care
