Crane Operator

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join our team! If you have a strong safety mindset and hands-on experience in a steel environment, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate Crane: Run a 30-ton overhead crane using a radio remote control.
Move Material: Transport, stack and stage heavy steel/aluminum bundles of sheet and coils.
Inspect Equipment: Perform daily pre-shift safety checks on cranes, hooks, sheet lifters.
Maintain Safety: Follow all OSHA regulations and plant safety protocols without exception.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of operating high-capacity overhead cranes in the steel environment.
Skillset: Proven expertise handling specialized steel lifting attachments.
Fitness: Ability to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods.
Mechanics: Basic knowledge of crane mechanics and trouble shooting.

1st and 2nd shift (Saturday's as needed)
