Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Summary Support process engineering by testing, planning, and executing improvements to processes, products, equipment, and data systems at a manufacturing facility. Focus on technology and cost reduction opportunities and provide craft-focused perspective for continuous improvement and project implementation. Responsibilities Perform root cause analysis by collecting and analyzing data and measuring and testing as required. Update drawings and documentation and write reports with recommendations for corrective actions. Implement approved corrective actions and support process improvement projects to drive efficiency and cost reduction. Provide subject matter perspective for project testing and implementation and support technologically driven solutions. Work with Process Engineers to develop and update flow charts, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. Focus on safe operation of manufacturing equipment and adherence to safety procedures. Use Tulip application and support departmental systems and processes. Requirements Technical associate's degree or equivalent. 3 years minimum experience with modern jewelry manufacturing techniques. Demonstrated experience in process improvement and data analysis. Ability to create mechanical drawings in CAD and basic SolidWorks knowledge preferred. Knowledge of GDandT and ability to measure with calipers, micrometers, and vision systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
