Allergy Technician/Medical Assistant
ENT and Allergy Specialists
Job Type
Part-time
- Part-Time Hours : Monday through Friday
- Work-Life Balance : No nights, weekends, or on-call shifts
- Paid Time Off : Accrues bi-weekly starting your first day. Upfront PTO bucket received after completion of 90 days
- Conduct allergy testing and administer subcutaneous allergy injections
- Prepare customized allergy extract prescriptions based on test results
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and allergy procedures
- Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with providers
- Perform pulmonary function tests
- Use EPIC to schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Collaborate with the Allergy Team to handle calls, messages, and work queues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program
- Confidence and experience in administering subcutaneous injections
- Willingness to travel between our office locations: Edgewood, Florence, Ft. Thomas (KY), and Dearborn (IN)
