Visitor Control Officer (D) - Safety & Security (FT)

Overview Serves as a greeter at various hospital departments and facilities. Responsible for observing, monitoring, and reporting activities at HH Health System. Responsible for constant monitoring of visitors for Safety & Security rules compliance and immediate violence de-escalation when needed. Reports all incidents and violations immediately and submits a written report to security management. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred. Must have the following within initial: CPR certification Management Of Aggressive Behavior IAHSS Basic certification (Within 90 days of employment) Experience: Customer service experience required and experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Must possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards. Additional Skills/Abilities: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills needed with the ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous manner.
