Head Custodian
$17.44 - $20.68 per hourSTCS LLC
POSITION OVERVIEW Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Director, this position performs a wide variety of maintenance work. Performs additional work as required and provides assistance to other maintenance employees as assigned by immediate supervisor. There are no supervisory duties. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to:
-Clean and sanitize bathrooms and locker rooms.
-Maintain paper towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers.
-Empty pencil sharpeners and clean white board trays.
-Empty waste baskets; clean and sanitize waste receptacles.
-Maintain tile and rubber floor surfaces.
-Clean and sanitize drinking fountains.
-Dust parallel surfaces.
-Assist with unloading and storing of deliveries.
-Ability to use and maintain equipment and tolls properly.
-Assist as needed with grounds keeping and stadium clean up.
-Clean windows, window ledges, and drinking fountains.
-Dust shelves, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, lockers etc.
-Remove graffiti from lockers, walls, bathroom walls and partitions, etc.
-Replace burned-out light bulbs.
-Athletic events.
- Community Education events & activities.
• High school diploma and 2 years' experience in the performance of building maintenance
• Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
• Basic knowledge of methods employed in buildings, grounds and maintenance work.
• Basic knowledge of methods of warehouse operations, security practices and stadium operations.
• Basic knowledge of proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Basic record-keeping techniques.
• Basic HVAC and plumbing knowledge.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• In-person daily attendance required. - 8 hours per day (260 work days/year, year-round employment)
- Primarily day shift (6:30a - 3:00p)
- $17.44- $20.68 per hour based on experience.
