Quality Assurance Nurse

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Nurse assists in the coordination and daily functioning of quality assurance and performance improvement activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state and accrediting body regulations and standards.

Posted Salary Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.


Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinates and develops learning experiences that support quality care consistent with standards, policies and procedures of the facility.
• Monitors the activities of nursing personnel to ensure quality care that complies with state, federal, local, and facility standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
• Previous experience in health care and quality assurance.
• Must have at least six (6) months long-term care experience or a combination of experience and training determined to be sufficient
• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed in the state of practice.
• Reliable transportation required
