Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and ambitious Mental Health Technician provide clinical support to patients of all populations. You will be working under the supervision of a RN, the Behavioral Health Technician performs various patient care activities necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

You will perform, participate, implement and evaluate personal performance, opportunities for personal growth and ability to change.

You will be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures that affect the outcomes of patient care, employee rights and responsibilities.

You will perform, participate, implement and evaluate performance improvement activities within the departmental level.

You will identify opportunities for waste reduction and department efficiency.

What qualifications you will need:

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• 6 months experience caring for behavioral health patients is preferred

• CPI certification within 30 days of hire
