Job Description
Labor & Delivery Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Travel RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- RN licensure in GA or a Compact license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; AWHONN Intermediate preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Prior 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Assist with high-risk antepartum care and postpartum hemorrhage management.
- Support neonatal care, including resuscitation and APGAR assessments.
- Monitor fetal well-being through external and internal fetal monitoring.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours of orientation required.
- Max request time off: 7 days per contract.
- RTO blackout period: Spring Break, Apr 4-12.
- Expected to work one major holiday if the assignment covers it.
