Assembler - 1st Shift

Assembler 1Moog Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for an Assembler 1. The primary responsibility is to assemble products per work instructions. This is an entry level position with training and support provided to ensure successful assembly of product. Core responsibilities are:Read work instructionsVerify work instructions match assignmentLearn new work instructions as requiredCollect required materials from binsSet up workstations per work instructionAssemble parts and inspect own work as instructedComplete required training in a timely mannerAssist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requestedAssist with other projects as requested by a member of managementPerform equipment maintenance and calibration as required in work instructionsVerify work instructions match assignmentBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentOne to three months related experience and/or trainingAbility to read and understand Device/Work instructionsAbility to understand verbal work instructionsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. on a repeated basisClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)/color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors; depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)Able to succeed in highly regulated compliance-oriented environment while still providing service excellenceAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distanceAbility to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructions; basic computer skillsIPC soldering certification preferred; soldering skills requiredAbility to read/write/communicate in English languageEEO: "Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans."
