Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual US GAAP tax provisions. Assists with federal and state income tax audits, and quarterly estimated payments and extensions. Researches and analyzes tax issues and developments affecting the company.**The anticipated salary range for this position is up to $85k. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.****Core Responsibilities*** Responsible for assisting with preparation of the company’s consolidated corporate federal income tax , including U.S. international, and state income/franchise tax compliance functions.* Responsible for preparing estimated and extension income tax payment calculations and the timely filing of the related forms, vouchers, and electronic funds transfers.* Assists in the compilation of research and analysis related to complex tax issues reflected on the company’s federal and state income tax returns (tax accounting issues, nexus issues, unitary/combined filing issues, etc.)* Responsible for preparation of the accounting for income/franchise taxes, including tax provision preparation and tax account analysis and reconciliation for U.S. federal & state, and outside-of-U.S. corporate income taxes.* Participates in other related tax projects as assigned.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Qualifying Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in related field (Accounting, Tax, etc.); Master’s Degree preferred* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred* 2 or more years of corporate income tax or public accounting experience, preferably with a publicly traded company or national/regional firm* OneSource software experience preferred**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities*** Strong tax/accounting technical background* Broad, in-depth technical tax knowledge* Ability to discern errors within highly complex or detailed work* Skills with MS Excel and Word required; advanced Excel skills preferred* Strong ability and experience managing and performing multiple concurrent tasks* Demonstrated understanding of financial processes and systems* Ability to plan work for self and coordinate with others to meet multiple deadlines* Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
