We provide a corporate culture that values teamwork, a strong work ethic, service to others, and personal balance.POSITION REQUIRES PREVIOUS FULL SERVICE HOTEL BRAND EXPERIENCESUMMARY: The General Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the hotel to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits. The hotel general manager plays a pivotal role in guest satisfaction by ensuring high standards of service, addressing guest and associate concerns promptly, and constantly seeking ways to enhance their experience. This role involves overseeing all departments to ensure they work in harmony and productively.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepares and presents annual budget for upcoming yearLeads the creation of annual marketing plan to maximize share and rate in upcoming yearAccountable for achieving house profit, budgeted RevPAR, and Occ IndexManages to or exceeding brand standardsEnsures the safety of all present on property and works to limit liability for all hotel activitiesKnowledgeable of local, state and federal laws including but not limited to Innkeeper Law, employment law, and OSHA regulations.Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goalsCoordinates activities of departments within the hotel to ensure operational efficiencyDirects and coordinates promotion of hotel services to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industryAnalyzes department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budgetConfers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations requiredDirects preparation of directives to Regional Director of Operations outlining policies, programs, or operational changes that need to be implementedPromotes hotel within local associationsPerforms other related duties as assigned by managementSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Directly supervises employees within the department(s)Indirectly supervises employees within the department(s)Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
