Safety Supervisor / Safety Manager (Mold Abatement & Restoration)Location: Crescent City, CA Duration: 3-6 Week Project Assignment Pay: Up to $35/hour DOE + Per Diem + Housing Provided Schedule: Full-Time with Significant Overtime AvailableWe are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor/Safety Manager to support a mold abatement and restoration project in Crescent City, California. This is a hands-on field role requiring strong safety leadership, extensive mold remediation experience, and the ability to work effectively with project teams.The project is located in a remote area along Northern California's coast, surrounded by state and national forests. Housing is provided, and transportation assistance is available.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a strong field presence and promote a positive safety cultureConduct site inspections, safety audits, and daily safety meetingsMonitor mold remediation and containment activitiesEnsure proper PPE, respiratory protection, and safe work practicesReview Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and investigate incidents when neededDocument observations, corrective actions, and compliance activitiesPartner with operations and project leadership to support safe and productive workCommunicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and field personnelQualificationsOSHA 30 or Cal/OSHA certification requiredExperience as a Safety Manager, Safety Supervisor, EHS Manager, or similar roleExtensive experience supporting mold abatement, remediation, or restoration projectsStrong knowledge of hazard identification, PPE, respiratory protection, and exposure controlsExperience leading toolbox talks, inspections, and incident investigationsStrong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skillsProfessional, calm demeanor with the ability to manage challenging client interactionsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay up to $35/hour based on experiencePer diem and company-provided housingSignificant overtime opportunitiesShort-term project with immediate impactTransportation support, including rental vehicle or mileage reimbursementCandidates with substantial mold remediation safety experience and a collaborative approach to safety leadership are encouraged to apply.
