Electrical Engineer II

Job Title

Pay Range: $54.21hr - $59.21hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 0–2 years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience in electrical system design and component selection.
• Hands-on experience with BLE communication and RF emitter technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with version control tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience with system verification and testing.
• Ability to develop specifications, evaluate feasibility, and execute engineering designs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Experience:

• Experience developing manufacturing or test equipment preferred.
• Experience in medical device or regulated environments preferred.
• Experience with automation systems, control systems, and electrical integration preferred.
• Experience leading or contributing to engineering project teams preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or participate in project teams to develop specifications, evaluate concepts, and provide estimates for electrical and software designs.
• Coordinate, monitor, and document project designs, timelines, and costs.
• Create electrical and software designs using standard development tools and procedures.
• Complete project deliverables and monitor schedules and scope changes to meet delivery requirements.
• Prepare reports and documentation to communicate project status and results.
• Lead teams including designers, engineers, and technicians in the design, assembly, and debugging of equipment.
• Design electrical systems and specify electrical components.
• Identify pneumatic components and define automated control requirements.
• Support compliance with regulatory and quality requirements by assisting in the creation of specifications and qualifications.
• Provide training to ensure control systems are operated effectively.
• Promote and implement engineering best practices across teams.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Should Have:

• Experience with FDA or regulated quality environments preferred.
• Experience with automated manufacturing systems preferred.
• Experience with system integration and equipment validation preferred.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
