About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Current state or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR preferred, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: The role involves working within a specialized CVOR unit. Weekends may be included in call requirements. The call expectation is 12-15 days in a 6-week schedule, including a minimum of 2 weekends. Floating within the facility may be required, including the Main OR. Daily patient census averages 25 surgical cases. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The unit contains 8 operating rooms. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams, including IV teams and physical therapy. Expected major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Travelers are expected to work designated holidays during their assignment. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is essential to start on time. References from two supervisory individuals are preferred. Candidates are encouraged to be flexible with location and shift preferences. Modules on unit-specific processes will be included during orientation. Candidates must submit core items within 48 hours of signing the contract. This is a travel position requiring adherence to specific policies regarding cancelations and eligibility.
