Courthouse Imaging Technician (Contract)Location: Western NebraskaCompany: Liberty Core Consultants, LLCProject Type: Land Title ProjectDuration: Project-basedPosition OverviewLiberty Core Consultants is seeking Courthouse Imaging Technicians to support a large-scale land title research project related to carbon capture and storage unitization in western Nebraska. Imaging Technicians will work on-site in county courthouses capturing digital images of historical land records used to establish surface and mineral ownership.This position is ideal for individuals comfortable working independently in a courthouse environment while handling historical records with care and attention to detail.Primary ResponsibilitiesLocate and retrieve deed and record books within county courthousesNavigate section–township–range (STR) index systems to identify relevant instrumentsCapture high-quality digital images of recorded documents using camera equipmentVerify image clarity and completeness before file uploadProperly return record books and materials to courthouse storageMaintain organized daily uploads of document images for remote indexing teamsFollow courthouse handling procedures and Liberty Core document standardsWork EnvironmentOn-site courthouse work environmentHandling historical record books and documentsIndependent work with periodic coordination with the Project ManagerQualificationsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and maintain organizationComfortable working with camera equipment and digital file systemsExperience with courthouse research, land records, or title work preferred but not requiredAbility to handle record books carefully and follow courthouse proceduresPreferred ExperienceLand title researchOil & gas or land services workCounty courthouse document retrievalHistorical record managementScheduleFull -time project-based work during courthouse hoursCompensationCompetitive hourly contract rate.Background and drug screen required.
