Vice President of Finance and Accounting

Alliance Health & Human Services Vice President of Finance and Accounting Southborough, Massachusetts Salary range: $175,000 - $275,000 annually, plus bonus opportunity We are seeking an experienced finance and accounting professional to step into a senior level role within our organization. Alliance is a Massachusetts-based, highly ranked provider of a multitude of healthcare services to elders including skilled nursing, assisted living, residential care, rehabilitation, and hospice services. Alliance owns and operates nine senior care facilities and provides these services to an additional two locations under full-service management contracts. We also provide a multitude of clinical, financial, operational, and marketing consulting services to other not for profit and for-profit healthcare organizations within New England. The Vice President of Finance will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer of Alliance. Responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to the following: Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Corporate Controller in the oversight of personnel within the general accounting, finance, payroll, accounts payable and billing and collections departments. Position will be tasked with streamlining current processes with an intent to implement AI-based automation tools to assist with preparation of ongoing reporting and financial management. Assume primary responsibility for review and distribution of ongoing internal and external financial reporting. Benchmarking and financial analysis. Contract review and negotiation. Part of team that will assess future acquisition and consulting opportunities and assist in work required associated with ongoing servicing of those contracts. Manage and review ongoing compliance monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with lenders and state and federal agencies. Oversee annual accounting audits, cost report and tax and other annual filings. The successful candidate will possess the following: Qualifications BS in accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA a plus. At least 7-10 years’ experience in progressive accounting or finance roles within a multi-site healthcare organization, preferably within a long-term care setting. Previous management experience required. Team player and ability to mentor and professionally develop others to take on greater responsibilities.
