Benefits Bonus based on performance Employee discounts Flexible schedule Free uniforms Overview A floor tech, also known as a floor care technician or a custodian, is an important member of the Indy Fiber team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various facilities. Primary responsibilities Stripping, waxing, and buffing floors Cleaning and sanitizing floors and carpets Operating floor machines, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors Maintaining supplies and inventory Following safety procedures Secondary responsibilities Cleaning restrooms, lobbies, and other areas Emptying trash and recyclable bins Responding to requests for technical assistance Performing minor maintenance and repairs Assisting with moving furniture and equipment Skills required Knowledge of floor care cleaning techniques Ability to use floor care equipment correctly and safely Attention to detail and organization Strong communication and customer service orientation Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Physical stamina and strength Work considerations: Floor techs may face hazardous conditions and chemicals, require the ability to work long or late hours, and need schedule flexibility to accommodate client needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning LLC
