JOB SUMMARY Provide diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy services in accordance with physician prescriptions, utilizing knowledge of radiation physics, therapeutic techniques, and patient anatomy. Key Responsibilities Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists and physicists. Operate radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance. Position patients accurately for treatment sessions. Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment parameters and patient progress. Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans. Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families about the radiation therapy process and potential side effects.
