Position Summary

CRA is seeking an experienced Installation Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience installing aluminum structures, screen enclosures, railings, canopies, shutters, and other aluminum building products.

This position requires a skilled professional who is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Installation Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to complete installations according to engineered plans, company standards, and customer expectations.

The successful candidate will possess strong construction knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install aluminum structures, screen enclosures, railings, canopies, shutters, and related aluminum products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, installation plans, and specifications.
• Measure, layout, and install products according to company and engineering standards.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and installation equipment.
• Ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate project progress and jobsite concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent CRA positively at customer locations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure successful project completion.
• Contribute to the overall success of CRA through quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing aluminum structures and building products.
• Proven experience with screen enclosures, pool cages, railings, canopies, shutters, and similar aluminum systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and installation plans.
• Experience measuring, laying out, and installing aluminum products accurately.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to safely operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and jobsite equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and winning mindset.

Installation Skills Assessment May Be Required During Interview Process

This position reports directly to the Installation Manager.
