As an Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. In this position you will utilize the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.Job RequirementsPrevious work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferredPrior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferredBachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy requiredMaster's degree preferredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association requiredCurrent Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within 3 months requiredPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)This acute care OT role is PRN and will involve a variety of scheduled days. As a PRN, you should anticipate covering three weekends within a 12-week timetable. We do rotate coverage.
