Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and thorough medical history reviews
• Assist in the assessment and identification of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging tests and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgeries
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which includes managing medications, wound care, discharge protocols, and patient education

Educational Qualifications

• Master's level education from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
