Hospice Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health AideEmployment Type: Full timeShift: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pmLocation: Enfield RegionStatus: Full TimeBonus: Position qualifies for a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid out over two years.NOTE: This position is 100% home care providing services in patients' private homes.What you will do:Follows care plan developed by RN.Reports client changes in condition to RN, as described on care plan.Assists clients with personal care activities including bathing, mouth care, denture care, skin care, grooming, bathroom privileges, transferring, ambulation, and dressing and undressing activities.Assists clients with household tasks including, planning and preparing meals, feeding, light housekeeping, changing linens, making bed, and laundering clothes and bedding.Measures and records client's oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse respiration and blood pressure as ordered.Performs range of motion and other simple procedures as an extension of therapy services as assigned.Assists clients in self-administration of medication. This procedure must be assigned by an RN and documented in the clinical record.
