Location: Mayfield Heights, OH 44124
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Evening | 4 × 10-hour shifts
Regular Hours: 2:00 PM–12:30 AM
Weekend: Every other Saturday and Sunday
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Radiology/Cardiology/X -Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with trauma, pediatric, NICU, and portable X-ray patients and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Candidates staying in the local area must be available to work holidays and take call as required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic X-ray and radiographic procedures according to established protocols.
- Provide imaging services for patients across various age groups, including pediatric and NICU patients.
- Perform portable X-ray examinations as required.
- Provide imaging support for trauma and emergency patients.
- Ensure appropriate patient positioning and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Follow radiation safety and patient-care standards.
- Work effectively and independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Trauma experience required.
- NICU experience required.
- Pediatric experience required.
- Portable X-ray experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and call as required.
Candidates staying in the area must participate in approximately 3 call shifts per month :
- 2 weekday call shifts: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 1 weekend call shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 4 × 10-hour shifts
- Regular shift: 2:00 PM–12:30 AM
- Every other Saturday and Sunday
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be available for call coverage if remaining in the local area.
