Quality Assurance TechnicianAs part of the ongoing manufacturing expansion at our Center of Excellence in Portsmouth, NH, the Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in identifying, documenting, and communicating quality issues, leading to continuous improvement across our operations. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to promote a culture of quality and ensure compliance with all applicable standards and product requirements at every stage of the process.A Day In The LifeEvery day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:Perform visual and functional inspections and audits of finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards, production specifications, and customer requirements.Manage and maintain the Calibration Program, including: Maintaining the calibration database to ensure all equipment is calibrated within required intervals. Coordinating both internal and external calibration activities with approved vendors. Performing calibration and Round Robin testing on approximately 10–15 onsite meter test panels. Reviewing and approving calibration data provided by contract manufacturers and issuing corresponding certificates.Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and support Incoming Inspection activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) materials.Initiate Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming materials and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) meetings as required.Assist with compiling, reviewing and reporting customer feedback for trends and continuous improvement.Additional Responsibilities:Develop an understanding of meter structure, manufacture, testing and repair. Support Quality Engineers in investigations related to internal and external product and process nonconformances. Assist in maintaining site compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and certification requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned.What will help you thrive in this role? Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Required: 3–5 years of experience as a Quality Technician within a manufacturing environment. Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015-certified (or equivalent) Quality Management System. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Awareness and understanding of Quality principles, methods and concepts. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Preferred: Working knowledge of SalesForce.com, SAP and Microsoft PBI are most beneficial.
