Emergency Veterinarian - Cary, NC

An established veterinary care provider is seeking a Veterinarian with an interest in emergency medicine to support a fast-paced clinical environment focused on urgent and critical patient care. This role offers the opportunity to practice advanced medicine while working alongside experienced clinical teams in a well-equipped facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat urgent medical conditions, minor injuries, and same-day care needs
• Perform medical procedures and administer appropriate treatments
• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment recommendations
• Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding care plans and follow-up instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Active veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure)
