We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Administrative Assistant to support the General Manager at a local coffee production facility. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be involved in the coffee industry. The role is based in a production facility located in an older plantation-style building and offers a more hands-on, industrial experience than a typical corporate office environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily administrative tasks
• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate record keeping
• Provide support for employee timekeeping and payroll
• Assist with coffee grading and quality documentation
• Maintain production records and manage inventory information
• Organize paperwork and prepare reports
• Offer general administrative support as needed

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a production facility environment
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in office, administrative, bookkeeping, or production support is preferred
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse inventory management
• Administrative qualifications are advantageous

Work Environment

The position is based in a coffee production facility characterized by an older plantation-style building. The environment is warm as it is not air-conditioned, and the schedule generally runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility available. This is not a traditional office environment; it is more hands-on and industrial, providing a unique work experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Captain Cook, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
