SUD Counselor
Tradition One
Overview Find fulfilling work helping men recover from a lifelong addiction. Our population focuses on family reunification and providing a safe environment for clients to foster long-term sobriety. Responsibilities The counselor will facilitate education and clinical groups, work with men who have been incarcerated, and maintain excellent documentation. The candidate must be self-motivated, a team player, and able to support a 3.1 level of care provided at Tradition One. Qualifications Registered or certified counselor with experience working with men in a drug and alcohol treatment setting. Knowledge of Medi-Cal, ASAM criteria, LOCs, Intakes, and Treatment Plans. Schedule Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Medical specialties Addiction Medicine COVID-19 considerations Candidate must be vaccinated.
