We are seeking a strategic thinker who can move beyond data extraction to provide sophisticated modeling, mentor junior staff, and lead high-stakes optimization projects.This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to navigate the complex intersection of healthcare policy, clinical operations, and financial performance.**Responsibilities:****Strategic Modeling:** Build and manage complex financial models to evaluate the impact of new payer contracts, fee schedule changes, and payer denials**Advanced Root-Cause Analysis:** Lead deep-dive investigations into systemic revenue leakage. You will be responsible for identifying multi-variable trends that cause underpayments or recurring denials.**Executive Storytelling:** Translate granular data into high-level strategic insights for the Executive Leadership Team (CFO, COO, VP of Revenue Cycle).**Analytics Standardization and Insights:** help develop and deliver reimagined RCM dashboards and using predictive analytics to solve business problems.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor's Degree* 5+ years in Healthcare Data Analytics with a heavy focus on the "back-end" of the revenue cycle.* Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Power Pivot**Preferred Qualifications*** Mid-level SQL skills (CTE’s, Window Functions, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization).**Physical Requirements:**Standard office environment.More than 50% of the time:* Sit, stand, walk.* Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.* See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.Less than 50% of the time:* Stoop, kneel or crawl.* Climb and balance.* Carry and lift 10-20 lbs.**Residents living in CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, and DC click** **here** **to view pay range information.****#LI-remote**Akumin Operating Corp. and its divisions are an equal opportunity employer and we believe in strength through diversity.
