Join Natera's Head & Neck Oncology histology team as a Clinical Oncology Specialist (COS). In this high-impact, field-based role, you will drive the adoption and growth of Signatera, Natera's personalized molecular residual disease (MRD) ctDNA assay, helping clinicians monitor cancer and inform treatment decisions throughout the patient journey.

As a trusted clinical and commercial partner, you will build strategic relationships with key stakeholders across academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, hospital systems, and community oncology practices. You will collaborate cross-functionally to expand access to Signatera while partnering with Radiation Oncologists, ENT/Otolaryngology physicians, Head & Neck Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.

We are looking for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop expertise in Natera's oncology portfolio, clinical data, reimbursement landscape, competitive positioning, and internal processes.
  • Identify and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic medical centers, hospital systems, and community oncology practices to drive adoption of Natera's oncology portfolio.
  • Engage H&N oncologists and other healthcare professionals through consultative, clinical discussions that support the adoption of Natera's oncology diagnostics.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to identify growth opportunities and influence key clinical and administrative stakeholders.
  • Achieve sales objectives and drive growth within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate territory activity, customer insights, and sales forecasts while identifying risks and new business opportunities.
  • Conduct all business activities with integrity while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful medical sales experience, preferably within Head & Neck Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine.
  • Knowledge of the academic and community oncology landscape, including molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, and reimbursement.
  • Experience calling on Radiation Oncologists, ENT/Otolaryngology physicians, Head & Neck Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, or other Head & Neck oncology stakeholders preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, business acumen, financial management, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence physicians, key opinion leaders, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to develop and execute territory growth strategies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical and scientific information effectively to diverse healthcare audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of oncology market dynamics, molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, and healthcare reimbursement is preferred.

Why Natera?

You'll join a collaborative, high-performing oncology team dedicated to expanding access to innovative molecular diagnostics that help clinicians make more informed treatment decisions throughout the cancer journey.

At Natera, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Represent industry-leading molecular diagnostics that are changing how cancer is monitored.
  • Partner with nationally recognized physicians, health systems, and key opinion leaders.
  • Join a collaborative culture that values innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Make a meaningful impact on patients and the future of precision oncology.
