Addiction Counselor

About the Job Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery Program Baltimore, Maryland Glenwood Life Counseling Center , a progressive, CARF certified, non-profit, medication-assisted treatment and recovery program is seeking full or part time addictions counselors to provide group and individual counseling and case management services to opiate-addicted adults. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with substance use disorder.
- A minimum of an AA degree (BA preferred) in mental health, psychology, addictions, social work, or related behavioral health field.
- A "trainee status "(or eligible to apply for it) in addictions or a CSC/ CAC. or
- A master's degree and a license in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field. (Candidates without a license may be eligible to apply for a "trainee status".)
