Job Description
Registered Nurse - PICU/NICU - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12s (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend (Friday/Saturday) required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience, preferably in PICU or NICU. The candidate will provide care to both adult and pediatric patient populations and will be required to float between various units, including PICU, Emergency Department, and Adult Critical Care, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Blood gas collection and medication administration
• Initiate and manage ventilator support, including BiPAP and high-flow therapy
• Respond to emergency codes and assist with in-house patient transport
• Provide chest physiotherapy
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and execution

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New Jersey license required
• BLS and NBRC certifications are required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are highly preferred
• Experience with required equipment: Servo-I, Servo-U, V60 BiPAP
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is expected
