Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: 12-Hour Day shift. Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a healthcare setting.
American Heart Association ACLS OR ALSO, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced FHM required. May substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.
Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal health during and after labor.
Assist with deliveries and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.
Occasionally take on charge nurse responsibilities, following training.
