OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in De Soto, KS by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Drive long-haul dry van freight nationwide while based out of De Soto, KS. As an OTR solo CDL-A driver you'll focus on safe, on-time deliveries on consistent interstate lanes, averaging around 2,500 miles weekly and earning pay starting at 65 CPM with performance bonuses.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate and inspect late-model tractors (APU, inverter, sleeper) and secure dry van loads.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and follow DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatch and report maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements include a valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months driving experience. HMD provides in-house maintenance support, full benefits, and home time every two weeks.
