What You Will Do:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care five days a week in an 8-hour clinic schedule
• Manage an established patient panel with a focus on solid tumors and benign/malignant hematologic conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs and oncology-certified nurses
• Participate in tumor board discussions and contribute to continuous quality improvement
• Offer inpatient consults and support hospital team during on-call hours, including weekends and nights

Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in hematology and oncology
• DEA license
• Excellent communication and diagnostic skills
• Ability to efficiently manage a busy outpatient practice and collaborate with hospital staff

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in rural or community-based settings
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Additional certifications or training in oncology or hematology subspecialties

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Successfully completed residency and fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
• Comfortable managing adult hematologic and oncologic cases

Other Requirements:

• Valid PA license or IMLC license
• Credentialing process completion (approx. 90 days), with temporary privileges available
• Willingness to participate in evening and weekend call rotations, including 24-hour weekend calls and weeknight phone consults
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with onsite support from physicians, APPs, and nursing staff
