Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse Acute Care

Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and effective patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
