You plan ahead, follow through, and value high quality outcomes and do what it takes to deliverWhat You'll DoDesigning assemblies and components in Siemens NXSupporting product development and product optimizationCollaborating on BOMs, mechanical validation, and service planningSolving real-world problems at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and control systemsSupport prototyping and testing by rapidly prototyping designs using 3D printing and iterating based on resultsMinimum QualificationsPursuing or recently obtained a Bachelor's or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related majorReliable commute to the headquarters in Hebron, KentuckyCAD - Designing assemblies and components in Siemens NX, supporting product development and product optimization, preparing accurate 2D drawings for reviewBOMs – Collaborating on BOMs, mechanical validation, and service planningCollaboration - Solving real-world problems at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and control systemsMath Skills - Applying statics and fundamental physics equationsGD&T - Understanding of GD&T and interpreting engineering drawings, specifically ASME Y14.5-2009Nice To Have3D Print Prototyping - Rapidly prototyping and testing designs using Bambu 3D printerPay and CompensationCompensation - Interns receive competitive monthly salary.
