Clinical Sales Specialist, Sports Medicine (Richmond VA) - Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Orthopaedics

Overview Johnson & Johnson is seeking a MedTech Sales professional for the Charlottesville VA territory, covering Richmond VA. This role supports DePuy Synthes, part of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies, delivering orthopaedic solutions that advance patient care and provide clinical and economic value to healthcare systems. Responsibilities Serve as the field representative for the assigned orthopaedics territory, promoting DePuy Synthes products and solutions to surgeons, hospitals, and healthcare systems. Build relationships with clinicians and KOLs to drive adoption of joint reconstruction, trauma, craniomaxillofacial, spine, sports medicine, robotics, and digital surgery solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and deliver value through clinical and economic outcomes. Maintain in-depth product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions. Plan and execute territory business strategies, including travel to customer sites as required (including weekends/overnight travel). Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.). Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional and/or relevant experience, or minimum of 4 years of professional and/or relevant experience; or recently transitioned from active military duty. Licenses/Permits: Valid US driver’s license. Location: Residence in or willingness to relocate to the assigned territory (Charlottesville VA and surrounding Richmond VA area). Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, business acumen; data analysis experience; results orientation; ability to work independently and in matrix/team environments; high attention to detail; understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Preferred: Strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
