Morningstar Living, a premier senior living community, is seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Care Aides to join our team. Pay ranges from $17 to $18 per hour, with higher rates available for candidates who hold a Nurse Aide or Med Tech certificationearning up to $20 per hour. No Med Tech certification? We can help! Morningstar Living offers on-campus Med Tech training and certification, providing a clear pathway to expand your skills and increase your earning potential.

• Part-time Day shift Every other weekend
• Part-Time Evening shift
• Per Diem on Evening and Night Shift

What will I do as a Personal Care Aide?

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that supports each resident's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, dining assistance, vital signs, and medication administration (as assigned).
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Support meal service and ensure residents have access to snacks and hydration throughout the day.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, transportation, errands, and other resident support services as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, safety standards, resident rights, and confidentiality requirements. Complete timely documentation, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.

What do I need as a Personal Care Aide?

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED or active Pennsylvania Nurse Aide certification in good standing.

Physical Requirements:

• Pushing/pulling residents in wheelchairs.
• Pushing/pulling of equipment and carts up to 60 pounds.
• Turning, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, to provide care.
• Assisting in resident care and transfer activities, which may include lifting of up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
