What You'll Do

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Load sheet metal into machines while ensuring accurate measurements
• Read tape measures and perform basic calculations to meet production specifications
• Inspect materials and finished products to maintain quality standards
• Lift, move, and position sheet metal and building materials throughout the production process
• Build, package, and prepare products for shipment
• Use a banding gun to palletize and securely strap finished orders
• Assist with loading, unloading, wrapping, and staging materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing, production, or general labor experience
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Experience operating machinery and using hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication or sheet metal production
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Experience in construction, assembly, packaging, or warehouse operations
• Experience with cutting, bending, and handling metal materials
• Ability to regularly lift 50-60 pounds throughout the shift

Work Environment

This position is based in a metal fabrication facility that is not temperature-controlled, requiring employees to work in varying conditions throughout the year. The role is active and physical, involving standing, lifting, bending, and material handling throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, IL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.65 - $19.65/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
