Position Summary

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and guiding organizations through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement. The AE serves as a trusted advisor by understanding client challenges, presenting solutions that align with business goals, and delivering a professional sales experience that reflects the company's values and commitment to service.

Primary Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
• Conduct prospecting activities including calls, emails, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently generate qualified opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers.

Consultative Sales

• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs, goals, challenges, and risks.
• Present solutions that align with the client's desired outcomes.
• Develop and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations.
• Facilitate solution reviews and answer client questions throughout the sales process.
• Negotiate agreements and close new business opportunities.

Pipeline and Opportunity Management

• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Track all sales activities, opportunities, forecasts, and next steps.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline health, sales activity, and projected revenue.
• Follow established sales processes and accountability measures.

Relationship Building

• Establish trust and credibility with prospective clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding.
• Maintain communication throughout the sales cycle and during implementation.
• Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, and community functions.

Strategic Alignment

• Understand the company's services, solutions, and ideal client profile.
• Communicate the value of the company's offerings rather than focusing solely on products or pricing.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
• Contribute ideas that improve sales processes, messaging, and client experience.
