Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Join a team where innovation meets collaboration, and your expertise drives meaningful impact. DLZ Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Bridgeville, PA office. This role is ideal for a highly experienced water/wastewater professional who enjoys mentoring teams and managing technical projects. The position is focused more on technical leadership, team management, and project delivery, with some client interaction. Duties & Responsibilities Manage complex, multi-discipline engineering projects from planning through design, construction, and closeout. Provide technical leadership and serve as a senior advisor to engineering staff. Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Lead project planning, scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination. Monitor project performance including budgeting, schedules, forecasts, and quality control. Review and approve major change orders and ensure contractual commitments are met. Coordinate internal teams across disciplines to ensure successful project delivery. Serve as primary point of contact for project-related client communication and maintain strong working relationships. Conduct project kickoff and progress meetings and prepare project status reports. Support business development efforts as needed, including technical input on proposals and pursuits. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Work with accounting to maintain accurate billing and project financials. Participate in professional organizations and industry activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field). 15-25 years of experience in engineering/project management, with strong water/wastewater project experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering complex engineering projects. Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills. Ability to visit and traverse project and construction sites safely. Proficiency with standard engineering and project management software tools.
