Compensation: annual base salary range $104,325 – $125,190 plus annual target bonus of 7.5% of base salary. Additional annual bonus awarded based on business and individual goals. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Logistics Procurement, the Associate Category Manager of Logistics will lead categories driving excellence in alignment with organizational goals and strategies. The leader will develop and execute centralized logistics procurement strategy across 3PL warehouses, company owned trailers, and dedicated fleet. Responsibilities include sourcing processes such as contracts, negotiations, financial analysis, RFP creation, and supplier research; collaboration with logistics operations and strategy teams. What you'll be doing: Develop, implement, and execute a strategic logistics procurement strategy in support of operations and business unit plans. Work cross‑functionally to leverage business requirements, market intelligence, and spend data to develop category strategy. Lead and report on large‑scale projects including RFPs, mini‑bids, warehouse sourcing events, dedicated RFPs, and trailer replacement bids. Develop KPIs and performance management using data analytics. Negotiate supplier terms and contract administration. Identify cost savings and value drivers. Lead, develop, and provide direction to Business Units; be a leader in the logistics organization. Drive continuous improvement with data analytics and change management. Own commercial relationships with key suppliers to drive excellence. Total network scope: >265 manufacturing locations and >14,000 lanes across: Domestic road and rail ($250M), LTL ($15M), Dedicated fleet services ($50M), 3PL warehouses ($12.5M), Company owned trailers ($10M), Parcel ($3.5M). Strategic sourcing and negotiating skills with logistics organizations. Excellent analytical, project management, and change management skills. Knowledge of logistics systems, preferably OTM and CASS. Above-average technological skills, strong Excel skills. Experience with large complex organizations.
